Women’s Rights Are Human Rights

The daily human experience, particularly the abuse and the violence that is inflicted on women and girl children by men, point to a great extent, a need for accelerated civic education as a lever for the restoration of the ideals of life. This book is therefore offered as a tool for civic education, with a purpose to strengthen the sense of humanness, particularly, in relation to men’s attitude and conduct towards women and girl children in all contexts of life. Seeking to inspire divinity of thought, perspective, habit and character for the peace and the dignity of women and girl children, this book focuses on such aspects as the reality of abuse and violence in the world, the treasure of true humanity; purposeful life; how to notice acts of abuse; mental health; and human trafficking. At the heart of this book is the understanding that the ideal world for human life is one in which every man can be trusted with a life of a woman and of a girl child, – a world in which women and girl children are never treated like objects of use, abuse, and discretion by men. Inherently, that is a world in which intimate partners are characterized by a purpose to affect each other positively, and in which difficult situations are approached with consideration and not destructive emotions.
